Sanibel 101
If you haven't been to Sanibel before, or it's been a while. Here's some stuff to help you make the absolute most of your visit. Return to this "Sanibel 101" page whenever you are planning your trips here to paradise! We will stash all the best Sanibel hacks here for your vacation awesomness.

Consider Uber or Lyfting Here!
If you're here to see Sanibel mostly and you might only want to pop up to Captiva for a day, you should seriously consider taking an Uber or Lyft to the island. It's only 35-40 minutes from Ft Myers Southwest Florida International airport.

When you get here, there's 25 miles of bike paths on a 12-mile long island, and you can literally bike anywhere. It's one of the things that makes Sanibel so special. And that one day you want to hit Captiva. Take a cab!
Consider Renting A Boat For A Day Out Exploring The Islands
Sanibel, Captiva, N. Captiva & Cayo Costa are so close together that you can cruise them all in a day and see some spectacular sights, while swimming, shelling and more.
We reccommend checking out the marina scene on Captiva, since the best exporing to be done is north of Capiva and around Cayo Costa island and Cabbage Key.

Best Places To Eat & Drink
There's so many places to eat and drink on the island that don't break the bank and you can walk and bike to all of these from our Condo.

Below you can find our favorite selection nearby. We will mix it up as we try more places, because after all, variety is the spice of life. And if you'd like the complete FourSquare guide to all the reataurants on the island, just scan the QR code opposite and HEY PRESTO! Anything that gets more than 7/10 is legit.
